Volleyball Recap: Pleasanton Comes Up Short

Pleasanton suffered their biggest loss since September 26, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Prairie View Buffalos, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Blu-Jays in their meetings with the Buffalos: they've now lost four in a row.

Pleasanton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-16.

Pleasanton's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Prairie View, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Pleasanton will take on Jayhawk Linn on Tuesday. As for Prairie View, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lutheran on the 27th.
