Volleyball Recap: Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Gretna Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-4, 25-10.

Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Gretna, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy will square off against Roanoke Valley Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gretna, they will face off against Tunstall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
