Sevastian Rosado leads a balanced attack to beat All Saints' Academy

Recap: Frostproof Bulldogs vs. All Saints' Academy Saints

The Frostproof Bulldogs won the last time they faced the All Saints' Academy Saints, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Frostproof strolled past All Saints' Academy with points to spare, taking the game 66-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Frostproof.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frostproof to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sevastian Rosado, who went 6 for 13 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 7 assists. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Rosado has scored at least a third of Frostproof's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daiveon Pittman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

All Saints' Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaelen Randall, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ali Ebrahim, who scored eight points.

Frostproof's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for All Saints' Academy, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frostproof will take on Fort Meade at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Nasier Berrien and Rosado. As for All Saints' Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Excel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Excel Christian Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.
