Recap: Green Canyon Wolves vs. Ridgeline Riverhawks
It was a good run, but the Green Canyon Wolves unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 59-45 fall against Ridgeline. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Green Canyon has scored all season.
It was another big night for Jagger Francom, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds for Ridgeline. Francom hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Carson Cox was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Green Canyon's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-1. As for Ridgeline, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Canyon will face off against Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Kaden Hess and Jared Anderson. As for Ridgeline, they will head out on the road to square off against Bear River at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Bear River's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games.
