If Northeastern was feeling good fresh off their 74-54 takedown of West Jefferson last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Northeastern Jets took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greeneview Rams. Even though they lost, the Jets' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Northeastern's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacoby Newman, who posted 11 points. Rhett Lough was another key player, going 5 of 8 en route to 10 points and five rebounds.

Northeastern has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Greeneview, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Northeastern has already played their next game, a 66-59 victory against Triad on the 17th. As for Greeneview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-46 win against Madison Plains on the 17th.
