Wylie came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Wylie East Raiders out 59-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted since November 21, 2023.

Wylie has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Wylie East, they moved to 19-11 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
