Brunswick is 8-2 against Franklin since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. Brunswick has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Brunswick came up short against Surry County on Thursday, falling 14-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Greensville County.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Brunswick came out on top in a nail-biter against Franklin when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
