Recap: Wolcott Eagles vs. Kennedy Eagles
The Wolcott Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kennedy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wolcott in their matchups with Kennedy: they've now lost seven in a row.
Terrance Morrison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kennedy, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Morrison is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Irving Rivera, who scored 11 points.
Wolcott dropped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Wolcott will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ansonia at 7:00 p.m. Ansonia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Kennedy, they will head out on the road to face off against Woodland Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Woodland Regional focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Friday.
