Markesan will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Montello/Princeton/Green Lake at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Markesan was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against River Ridge last Friday as they made off with a 35-7 win. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Markesan are ranked far ahead of River Ridge in the MaxPreps rankings.
Meanwhile, Montello/Princeton/Green Lake were fully in charge last week, breezing past Westfield Area 46-6.
