Recap: Little Rock HomeSchool Flames vs. Tyler HEAT

The Little Rock HomeSchool Flames lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Saturday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Tyler HEAT 78-40. Little Rock HomeSchool just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Jackson Tomlin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tyler HEAT, scoring 23 points along with four steals. Tomlin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Waker Hartman was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.

Little Rock HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Tyler HEAT, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

Little Rock HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Abundant Life at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tyler HEAT, Tyler HEAT and CHAAMP HomeSchool will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. CHAAMP HomeSchool will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 988th, while Tyler HEAT is ranked 230th).
