Basketball Recap: Rosewood Takes a Loss

Rosewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neuse Charter Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 55-44 loss last Friday.

Rosewood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Neuse Charter, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.

Rosewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Neuse Charter, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lakewood's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 contests.
