Flag Football Recap: El Monte Takes a Loss

El Monte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 12-0 to the Rosemead Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 on September 10th.

El Monte's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Rosemead, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Monte is set to challenge their familiar foe Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rosemead will face off against rival Arroyo at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
