Softball Recap: Laredo LBJ Comes Up Short

Laredo LBJ and Johnson squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Laredo LBJ had to settle for second. They lost 15-2 to the Jaguars. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Laredo LBJ's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Johnson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Johnson beat Laredo LBJ by a score of 9-1 on Saturday.
