Volleyball Recap: Lorain Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lorain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Mentor Cardinals, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since September 16th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-5, 25-8.

Leading Mentor to victory were Addison Keeper and Ava Garrett. Keeper had four aces and three digs, while Garrett had seven digs and two assists. Keeper has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 12 times she's played.

Lorain's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Mentor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Lorain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Cleveland Heights on the 9th. As for Mentor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Medina on the 8th.
