Volleyball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northwest Cabarrus can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Crest Chargers on Saturday. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8, 25-16.

Northwest Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Crest, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season.

Northwest Cabarrus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crest, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Oak Grove on the 21st.
