Basketball Recap: Forest Park Wins Going Away Against Mt. Vernon

Forest Park won the last time they faced Mt. Vernon and things went their way on Monday too. The Forest Park Rangers took down the Mt. Vernon Wildcats 59-43.

Despite the defeat, Mt. Vernon had strong showings from Meyer Robb, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 17 points, and Brady Schickel, who posted 13 points.

Forest Park's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Mt. Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Park will host South Spencer at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Vernon, they will welcome Southridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Vernon is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season.
