Baseball Recap: First Baptist School Takes a Loss

First Baptist School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the Pinewood Prep Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-2 defeat last Tuesday.

First Baptist School's loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1. As for Pinewood Prep, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Coming up, First Baptist School will challenge Porter-Gaud at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cyclones will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pinewood Prep, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wilson Hall at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
