Basketball Recap: Unity Reed Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Unity Reed was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Gainesville Cardinals and fell 85-50. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Cardinals are ranked 111th).

Unity Reed's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Gainesville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Unity Reed will head out to challenge Patriot at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gainesville, they will take on King's Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday.
