Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Terra Ceia Christian's Winning Streak

After a string of five wins, Terra Ceia Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 2nd.

Terra Ceia Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bethel Assembly Christian Academy work for it, especially in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 19-25, 26-24.

Terra Ceia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Terra Ceia Christian will venture away from home to take on Heritage Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Ahoskie Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
