Baseball Recap: Edcouch-Elsa Drops Season-High Score on Pace

Edcouch-Elsa scored the most runs they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Pace Vikings by a score of 12-10. The Yellowjackets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Troy Barco made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Jason Pena also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Edcouch-Elsa's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pace, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Edcouch-Elsa beat Pace by a score of 9-5 on Friday.
