Baseball Game Preview: Portsmouth Clippers vs. Nashua North Titans

The Portsmouth Clippers will square off against the Nashua North Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Portsmouth nor Nashua North posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Portsmouth is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Bedford, who was ranked 14th at the time (Portsmouth was ranked tenth). The Clippers fell 3-0 to the Bulldogs on Monday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Clippers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Nashua North wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Portsmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Nashua North, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-14.
