Baseball Recap: Brookfield Comes Up Short

Brookfield managed to slip by Southeast the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 9-1 to the Pirates on Tuesday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Brookfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Hardman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Southeast, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookfield will head out to challenge Lowellville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast, they will face off against Waterloo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
