Everything went Real Life Christian Academy's way against Wildwood on Tuesday as Real Life Christian Academy made off with a 17-6 win. The Raptors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 11 runs or more this season.

Daniella Delgadillo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring five runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Real Life Christian Academy got a big performance out of Shawn Ramsey, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Evelyn Anderson, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Real Life Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in nine consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but First Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for two weeks ago. They were the clear victor by a 19-10 margin over Legacy Charter. First Academy's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Rebecca Barnett was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 17 batters over nine innings while giving up ten earned runs off ten hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 6.8 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off three home runs, five runs, and seven RBI while going 4-for-5. Those three home runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madi Myers, who scored five runs while going 3-for-5. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Ashlyn Neiford also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Real Life Christian Academy pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 17 runs. As for First Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3.
First Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Real Life Christian Academy has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 14.7 hits per game. It's a different story for First Academy, though, as they've been averaging 10.2 hits. Given Real Life Christian Academy's sizable advantage in that area, First Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
Real Life Christian Academy took their victory against First Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Real Life Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
