Harper Creek barely beat Marshall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Beavers put the hurt on the Redhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Beavers have posted against the Redhawks since September 13, 2023.

Harper Creek didn't let Marshall take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

Camille Robinson paced Harper Creek's offense, picking up 13 kills. Robinson got some help from Andersyn King and her 37 assists. Robinson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Harper Creek's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-14. As for Marshall, with the defeat, they broke their five-match winning streak and moved their record to 26-9-1.

Harper Creek and Marshall should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Beavers (ranked 68th) will meet Calhoun Christian (ranked 400th) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Marshall will square off against Hastings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (42 vs. 412).
