Basketball Recap: Irrigon Skates Past Griswold with Ease

Irrigon won against Griswold on Friday with 89 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Irrigon Knights breezed by the Griswold Grizzlies to the tune of 89-50. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 36 points or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Irrigon, bringing their record for this year to 6-5. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Griswold, they, and Four Rivers. As for Griswold, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Irrigon is taking a road trip to take on Four Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Irrigon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Four Rivers likes a good challenge. As for Griswold, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Wallowa at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
