Basketball Recap: Clearfield Alliance Christian Takes a Loss

Clearfield Alliance Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Blair County Christian Bobcats, falling 53-32. Clearfield Alliance Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.

Leading Blair County Christian to victory were Aidyn Lundy and Jonathan Marucci. Lundy dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Marucci went 9 for 17 to rack up 20 points and eight boards. Lundy has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Caleb Hileman was another key player, putting up six points and ten boards.

Clearfield Alliance Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Blair County Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Clearfield Alliance Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blair County Christian, they will square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
