Basketball Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fort Hill last Thursday, Brunswick came back down to earth. The Brunswick Railroaders fell just short of the Walkersville Lions by a score of 50-48 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Railroaders have suffered since January 17, 2024.

Brunswick has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Walkersville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Brunswick will face off against Middletown on Friday. As for Walkersville, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Walkersville Lions duke it out with the Williamsport Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williamsport knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Walkersville likes a good challenge.
