Mentor is 9-1 against Euclid since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mentor Cardinals take on the Euclid Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Mentor will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mentor beat Twinsburg 50-46.

Meanwhile, Euclid ended up a good deal behind Holy Name last Wednesday and lost 46-27.

Mentor is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Euclid, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Everything went Mentor's way against Euclid when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Mentor made off with a 56-34 win. Does Mentor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Euclid turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
