Soccer Game Preview: Imperial vs. Central

The Imperial Tigers will face off against the Central Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Imperial, who comes in off a win.

Central better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Imperial really get things going. Imperial never let Southwest EC onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

They hit Southwest EC with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luis Monroy, Enrique Guerra, and Aaron Sanchez.

Meanwhile, Central entered their contest against Calexico on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Central lost 3-0 to Calexico.

Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-2-2. As for Imperial, their win bumped their record up to 12-4-6.
