After a string of three wins, Tri-Village's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost to the Bishop Fenwick Falcons on the road by a 46-27 margin. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Patriots came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while the Falcons are ranked 299th).

Tri-Village's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Bishop Fenwick, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Tri-Village won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bradford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-Village is facing Bradford at the right time seeing as Bradford is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Bishop Fenwick, they will head out on the road to take on Carroll at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Carroll will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Bishop Fenwick surely won't give up without a fight.
