Mogadore turns things around after tough road loss

Recap: Mogadore Wildcats vs. Buchtel Griffins
There's no place like home for the Mogadore Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They took down Buchtel 49-35 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mogadore also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Olivia Kidd was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 16 points. Amelia Morris was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals.
The win got Mogadore back to even at 2-2. As for Buchtel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mogadore will square off against Southeast at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Southeast is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Buchtel, they will head out on the road to face off against Ellet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Ellet's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
