Baseball Recap: Madera South Takes a Loss

Madera South lost against Sunnyside on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Stallions fell 7-3 to the Wildcats. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madera South saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Casarez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Madera South's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Sunnyside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madera South will venture away from home to challenge Hoover at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Stallions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sunnyside, they will head out to face off against McLane at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
