Soccer Game Preview: Walker Valley vs. Boyd-Buchanan

Walker Valley is 0-6 against Boyd-Buchanan since February of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m.

Walker Valley lost 5-1 to Chattanooga Christian on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Walker Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Chattanooga Christian are ranked second).

Walker Valley's goal came courtesy of Alex Lakatosh, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boyd-Buchanan). They never let Silverdale Academy get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Boyd-Buchanan considering their one-goal performance the game before.

Boyd-Buchanan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Walker Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-3.
