Softball Recap: Weaver Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Weaver lost against Lincoln back in February of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bearcats lost 10-1 to the Golden Bears.

Weaver saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ali Anderson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Weaver's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 21-13-1.

Looking ahead, Weaver will head out on the road to square off against Ranburne at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln, they will be playing at home against Ohatchee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
