Softball Recap: Albert Lea Tigers vs. Worthington Trojans
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Albert Lea). They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Worthington Trojans on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Taylor Johnson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Johnson was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
