Baseball Recap: Stilwell Takes a Loss

Stilwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Checotah Wildcats, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly ten runs.

Stilwell's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Checotah, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stilwell will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fort Gibson at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Checotah, they will take on Keys at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
