Soccer Recap: West Laurens Comes Up Short

If West Laurens was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Howard last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The West Laurens Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harlem Bulldogs on Friday. The loss was the Raiders' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Laurens fell to 2-1. As for Harlem, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, West Laurens will welcome Baldwin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.8 goals per game this season. As for Harlem, they will head out to take on Hephzibah at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Harlem also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 3.2 goals per game.
