Baseball Recap: Bozeman Find Success

Bozeman won the last time they faced Rutherford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bucks walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Rams.

The team relied heavily on Zac Flitcraft, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Goodwin, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bozeman's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Rutherford, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Bozeman will challenge Marianna at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rutherford, they will face off against North Bay Haven Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buccaneers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
