Minooka never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Bolingbrook on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Raiders. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by seven runs or more this season.
Minooka let Jaelle Hamilton and Karli McMillin run wild. Hamilton went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double, while McMillin went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most RBI Hamilton has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ava Carlson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Minooka kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bolingbrook only managed two hits.
With the win, Minooka broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 22-12. As for Bolingbrook, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-25.
Coming up, Minooka will take on Plainfield Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. Bolingbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
