Volleyball Recap: Glenbard East's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Glenbard East waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the West Aurora Blackhawks by a score of 2-0. The Rams were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Blackhawks, so the Rams were just returning the favor.

Glenbard East not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept West Aurora between 19 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Glenbard East's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-14. As for West Aurora, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-14.

Coming up, Glenbard East will challenge Benet Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Aurora, they will take on Marmion at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
