Football Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

Freedom was the 38-10 winner over Nazareth Area when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots were outmatched by the Blue Eagles and fell 56-21. Patriots fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Blue Eagles since Friday.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Nazareth Area, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Freedom is taking a road trip to take on William Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nazareth Area, they will host Parkland at 7:05 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Blue Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
