Baseball Recap: Mendon Takes a Loss

If Mendon was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Eau Claire on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell just short of the Three Rivers Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Mendon's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Three Rivers, they moved to 10-6-2 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Mendon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 14-4 win against Cassopolis on the 5th. As for Three Rivers, they have also already played their next game, an 8-5 defeat against Edwardsburg on the 5th.
