Lincoln entered their tilt with Decatur Eisenhower on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-36 victory over the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Railsplitters, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lincoln can attribute much of their success to Karson Komnick, who posted 18 points. Brody Tungate was another key player, putting up nine points.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Decatur Eisenhower, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Lincoln and Lanphier will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Decatur Eisenhower, they and Centennial will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
