Soccer Recap: Madeira Comes Up Short

Madeira was the 1-0 winner over Mariemont when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Madeira have lost by just one goal.

Madeira has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5-3 record this season. As for Mariemont, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2-1.

Madeira does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mariemont, they will take on DePaul Cristo Rey in a tournament on Tuesday.
