Hendrickson is 9-0 against Elgin since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hendrickson Hawks will face off against the Elgin Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hendrickson is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against East View on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Hendrickson came up short against East View, falling 64-42. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 682nd, while the Patriots are ranked 134th).

Meanwhile, Elgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 73-47 to East View.

This is the second loss in a row for Hendrickson and nudges their season record down to 8-18. As for Elgin, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Everything went Hendrickson's way against Elgin in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as Hendrickson made off with a 67-46 win. Does Hendrickson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Elgin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
