Baseball Recap: Manchester Academy Snags 12th Victory in Last 15 Games

Manchester Academy got themselves on the board against Deer Creek on Tuesday, but Deer Creek never followed suit. They blew past the Deer Creek Warriors 10-0. The Mavericks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Jon Parker Dees was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Beidleman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Manchester Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Deer Creek only posted a batting average of .167.

Manchester Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Deer Creek and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Manchester Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Deer Creek: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
