Basketball Game Preview: Walnut Grove Warriors vs. Madison County Red Raiders

The Walnut Grove Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Madison County Red Raiders at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Walnut Grove will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Tuesday, Walnut Grove was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Flowery Branch.

Meanwhile, Madison County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against East Forsyth on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 79-74 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Raiders.

Walnut Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Madison County, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Walnut Grove came up short against Madison County when the teams last played back in January, falling 59-51. Can Walnut Grove avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
