Softball Game Preview: Idaho Falls Tigers vs. Bonneville Bees

The Idaho Falls Tigers will square off against the Bonneville Bees at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Idaho Falls hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Idaho Falls came up short against Pocatello on Friday, falling 18-1.

Bonneville couldn't beat Malad on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Bees fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 5-4.

Gracie Longhurst put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Bonneville has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Idaho Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
