Softball Recap: Medomak Valley Beats Brunswick for Their Eighth Straight Win

Medomak Valley extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping their season record up to 8-0 in the process. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Brunswick Dragons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

As for Brunswick, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly three runs.

For Brunswick's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faith Wallace, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That run was Wallace's first of the season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Medomak Valley will head out to square off against Leavitt at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests. As for Brunswick, they will challenge Edward Little at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
