Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Cienega

Cienega had won two straight games and Thomas Noyes did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Cienega Bobcats came out on top against the Marana Tigers by a score of 82-71 thanks in part to Noyes, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Kristian DelRio was another key player, putting up 16 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Cienega's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Marana, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cienega will face off against Nogales at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Marana, they will take on Cibola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Marana's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
